'44.1 Khz' was born all the way back in 2015 during a studio session with Arkaik at Taelimb's south London studio.

Vibes were strong and before the day was done we toasted to having written a tidy little tune with plenty of attitude.
All of of us were gassed to hear it in the club, and we weren't disappointed.

... but.

The creative process can be a bit of a rollercoaster.
Self-doubt, endless tweaking to obtain perfection, these are just a couple of the things that plagued us after our initial enthusiasm.
As time went on we all slowly lost interest in the project, no doubt tempted to write new music and chase other opportunities.

Fast forward 7 years, I'm digging through my old hard drives to catalog all my old music (I'm definitely getting old).
Listening through these old ideas and scraps I stumbled on one of our last exports of ’44.1 Khz’.
Immediately I felt energised to boot it back up and give it a new lick of paint.
Unfortunately, after a couple of hard drive failures and new computers since our initial sessions, all that remains is a single audio file.

We all agreed it would be a shame to see this one be lost to the vault.
So finally after 7 years, here's a little freebie from the past.
We think it still stands up in these modern times and we hope you think so too.
